The monograph consists of six chapters the order and content of which was submitted to the elementary aim of this book. It may be desribed as aspiration to characterization of an entrepreneur in Poland and presentation of principles of carrying out business activity. Chapter I includes contents connected with the sole entrepreneur and elements referring to his business activity. The object of analysis in chapter II are elementary issues connected with free market principles of carrying out business activity. Chapter III concentrates of presentation of the influence of the entrepreneur’s surroundings on his pro-enterprising behaviours. Chapter IV includes deep analysis of problems connected with registering duty, as well as those duties that are connected with liquidation of an enterprise. Chapter V is devoted to tax aspects of carrying out business activity. In chapter VI legal principles of social security of a person carrying out business activity and principles of control of such a subject were characterized; new principles, as they have been recently changed by the legislator.
